Gregoire Vogelsang
By establishing a strong and reliable relationship with the artists they represents, Vogelsang Gallery actively develops long term associations, by organizing and participating in art fairs, generating promotional opportunities, handling press and Public Relations and generating sales visibility.
The diversity of Gregoire Vogelsang’s work experiences is a major asset for Vogelsang Gallery to successfully introduce and display its artist's works into new markets. The Belgian art dealer founded his Art Gallery while living in New York in January 2011. From 2008 to 2012, Gregoire curated shows and exhibitions in various venues in NYC, featuring young emerging Europeans artists, before having the opportunity to move the gallery into a permanent space in Brussels.
Before his experience in the US market, Gregoire’s passion for contemporary art led him to manage the Belgian branch of a Parisian Art Gallery for over 2 years (2006-2008) in Brussels.
His “uber active” career began at age 15 when he quit school, went to San Francisco to learn English and started working waxing furnitures in antiques shops Rue de Grenelle Antiques and Moniques Arnon Art & Antiques.
At age 17, he hosted his own daily show on the national Belgian radio Bel-RTL titled “The Challenge of Mister Gregoire.” Two years later as a production manager, he also created the scenarios for the prime time TV show “Si C’etait Vous” broadcasted on RTL.
In addition to his early media experiences, Gregoire worked as a public relations representative for ELLE Deco magazine in Brussels, Belgium and as an event planner for the hospitality group YJRG, overseeing 13 locations in New York City.
With his positive "can do” approach, Gregoire Vogelsang is also known as the founder of Cube Art Fair, a contemporary art fair featuring international artists launched in 2016 with editions in both Brussels and New York.
