Mikhail Porollo is a Russian photographer. He has a higher degree in engineering he has always been interested in photography on different levels.

 

He started studying photography whilst living in South Africa. Since then, besides The South African College of Photography, he has done quite a few specialist courses and workshops in South Africa, Russia, Belgium and Namibia, including Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, UK.

 

His preference for art photography is supplemented by a deep interest in architecture, landscape and portrait. For Mikhail, photography is not just capturing a moment or the beauty of life but also a way to express his ideas and experiences.
