Alexandra Gersdorff, originally from Belgium, study at  « Van der Kelen school » in Brussels before attending the prestigious "San Cervolo Institute » in Venice to learn the art of the fresco. It was at the Academy of Boitsfort in Brussels in the section of Monumental Art that she discovered the techniques of painting on larger format canvases allowing her to establish the dynamics of her painting. 

 

This consists of expressing what the unconscious gives us as sensations and as vital energy. A painting in which emotion sets the pace, where the energy of the gesture gives expression to each line of his "Being"; for everyone to travel in the essence of his sensations. In 2001 she had the opportunity to exhibit for the first time in Brussels.

 

Since then, many others exhibit  took place in Brussels, Paris, New York, Hong Kong and many others city around the world …
