LAURIE RASKIN
Laurie Raskin is a Los Angeles based artist who does mixed media works on paper using printmaking, collage and paint. Laurie received her BFA and MFA from California Institute of the Arts. In 1984, she was one of 12 artists selected to design the official Olympic Poster for the Summer Games in Los Angeles.
Laurie has had a successful career as a graphic designer and as an architectural interior designer and is currently focused on doing her personal mixed media art works. Her work as appeared in various group shows in Southern California and is widely collected in both North America and in Europe. In May 2012, she was the featured cover artist on Saatchi Art Online Magazine, “ From The Studio Of.”
Her work was recently licensed by Art On Fashion in the UK.
